Noah turned 6 months old this week! 🥹 She experienced some amazing developmental leaps in month 5 — saying her first word “Dada,” sitting up unassisted, and crawling! Through all these changes, she remains so chill and joyful. I want to be as a cool as a cucumber like Noah when I grow up!

She’s like a rainbow ❤️ Mama decided to let loose and wear all the color she wanted.
I’ve dreamed of going to @altsummit for years after seeing inspiring ladies like @thealisonfaulkner and @ohjoy rock out at Alt and learning that all my favorite interior designers and fellow DIY-loving mamas converge on Palm Springs in the most colorful creative way.
So when I tell you I had the time of my creative life at @altsummit. I feel so inspired by the female creative business owners and entrepreneurs I met. I went alone but left with so many new connections. I felt like I was among my people, welcomed with all my quirk and color! Plus, I had an amazing evening with @chasingpaper and I presented at a Roundtable!
Aside from new blogger friends (🙌🏾), the biggest takeaway for me from Alt was clarity. I recently shared in my stories that I wasn’t quite sure I was sold on social media anymore. But, I’m walking out of Alt realizing that I may just be an influencer after all. Not based on what the world says “influencer” means. I am seeking to influence women to believe more, to keep going, to do everything God’s called them to do by His grace. There is so much power in my voice and my motive is to influence women for good, not for gain.
The clarity I gained brought so much color to my world 🌈 So here’s to sharing life authentically 🫶🏾

Thank you to the @thurgoodmarshallbarofficial for recognizing my law firm @dorseywhitneyllp as Law Firm of the Year and for honoring me with the 2023 TMBA President’s Award at the TMBA Annual Installation and Awards Gala last night! Noah Baby turned 5 months old this week ✨Sister can roll over in both directions, likes to roll her R’s while cooing and squealing, and grabs everything. Even still, she’s so calm and easygoing. She makes life so much sweeter 🫶🏾 ...
Nearly a 10 year age gap and they’re so sweet together 😍
Do you have a big age gap between your kids? Here’s what helped the girls form a bond:
• letting the oldest help with her little sisters (so that they see the oldest as another safe place PLUS the oldest feels excited and engaged)
• giving undivided attention to each child to let them know they’re seen and loved (so resentment doesn’t build between children)
• letting them play together (play works just as well when there is an age gap!)
• teaching younger siblings to respect the oldest’s space

Honor is in her “I can do it myself” era. Listen, as long she’s fully clothed, I’m not about to fuss about this. I have 3 kids, I choose peace 🤷🏾♀️ ...
Noah turned 4 months old this week 💗 She’s the calmest and most relaxed baby ever so far, and she laughs at everything. NoNo Baby is thinking about rolling over (she’ll lift her legs up and then decide against it), but for now she’s content scooting around during tummy time. Noah Grace is one chill baby and our family adores her. 💗 ...

SONday with my daughters 💗 Josh and I talked the other night about what we see in each of our girls, and what God is doing in our own hearts by giving us daughters. I believe the Lord gave me girls to guide them and show them the beauty of womanhood, to see their worth, to see that God made womanhood so much bigger than the box the world created. Their beautiful personalities and gifts reflect God in so many ways. They’re unlimited and powerful, just as God made them. My Grace Girls 💗RGJ + HGJ + NGJ ...

Noah turned 3 months last week! Baby girl took her first flight, laughs out loud and squeals, and soothes herself back to sleep.

The season of Advent is upon us — a season of anticipation of Christ’s first coming (His birth) as we long for Christ’s second coming.
I feel a deep desire this year to pull back and rest in the magnitude of Jesus. I just want to sit and be still and know that He is God.
This little Advent calendar is such a sweet daily reminder of this. For the last few years, we’ve spent December counting down to Christmas — we pull open a drawer, read the verse tucked inside, and enjoy a sweet treat. Just being together enjoying the story of Jesus’s birth spread out in each box, with sweet anticipation for Christmas Day.
I think this practice is symbolic of what is and what is to come — I just want to enjoy the One that matters more than anything, while awaiting His second coming. I’m so glad we are living in Advent this month, and each day. ...
